The Las Vegas Convention Center and Vistor's Authority
The Northwest Expansion is a 425,000 S.F. of two-story steel frame structure with
an insulated metal panel and dual pane window exterior.
This includes exhibit halls, meeting rooms,
pre-function area, a new Visitors Center Office, and
a pedestrian bridge across Paradise Road to the
main parking lot.
The Las Vegas Convention Center South Expansion
is a 1,300,000 S.F. facility located south of the
main complex. This two-story steel frame structure with insulated
metal panels and dual pane windows spans 300
feet over Desert Inn Road, a major thoroughfare.
DCC met with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors
Authority (LVCVA) to review program requirements
from LVCVA staff ensuring all program requirements
from each department were met. One
of the biggest needs for the LVCVA was meeting a
larger demand for meeting halls as a percentage of
exhibit hall space.
